A Free Gift

Acts 3:6 ". . . Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee:"

I would like to give you a free gift of eternal life. I cannot make you go to Heaven - YOU must make a decision yourself.

1. Every person needs to be saved:

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23
You have sinned. Every man that has ever walked this planet has sinned against God.

2. Your sin has separated you from God.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
It is your sin that separates you from God. Because of your sin, God can not allow you into Heaven. Your destiny is in hell, God doesn't want you to go there. He has a plan.

3. Jesus Christ paid our debt of sins:
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8.

Jesus Christ, God's Son came over two thousand years ago and died for your sins. After three days, He arose from the grave and is now at the right hand of God. He paid the price and secured the way for your forgiveness.

4. Repent of sin and ask Christ to save you:
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13
If you will humbly ask Christ to forgive you and to save you from your sins, He will! He offers a free gift of forgiveness and eternal life to all who will ask. Turn to Him today!

If you have made a decision about your relationship with Christ, would you please let me know?

I would love to hear from you. If you have any questions or comments please let me know as well.

May God bless you!

The above was taken from Terry Cashatt's website which is very informative and inspirational. He is a Desert Storm Veteran, and is retired from the U.S. Army.

Terry was the Chaplain of the 545th MP Company Association, and published our monthly newsletter.  Since the beginning of Dec 2008, I have assumed those duties, in order for Terry to concentrate more on other commitments and obligations he has on his plate right now.

From time to time, I will take something from his site, (with his permission of course) and add it to this, or use it in my Chaplain's Newsletter.
